The Brief

VentureVerse needed one thing from its launch film: make founders instantly understand what the product does — and why it removes the friction from building a startup — while staying tightly on-brand.

No moodboard. No reference deck. Just the script and the ask.

The Approach

I built the visual direction from zero — researched the brand palette, studied the tone, and developed a custom storyboard against the script. The client's first instinct was a grungier, textured look; I pushed back and argued for something cleaner: sharper typography, more breathing room, motion-design-forward rather than noisy. We iterated through a few rounds and landed on a minimal system that still felt premium, not sterile.

Drop VentureVerse X-post still

I also lightly rewrote sections of the script — not the content, the delivery — adjusting phrasing and rhythm so it read naturally through ElevenLabs voice synthesis. A small edit, but it's the difference between sounding AI-narrated and sounding intentional.

Execution

Storyboard1 day
Animation + delivery2–3 days
Total — solo, start to finish~4 days

Comfortable scope for the timeline — no execution strain, clean handoff.

The Result

The video went live on X and crossed 160K views, becoming one of the account's standout posts. VentureVerse ran it as a paid ad, and it drove a visible lift in waitlist signups and follower growth on @VXVHub.

Client feedback, verbatim: “killer.”
